Cuantificatori engleza much many a lot of exercitii
Cuantificatorii 'much', 'many', și 'a lot of' în engleză exprimă cantități și se folosesc diferit cu substantivele numărabile și nenumărabile. 'Many' se folosește cu substantive numărabile, 'much' cu cele nenumărabile, iar 'a lot of' cu ambele tipuri, mai ales în propoziții afirmative.
Reguli de bază și exemple
- 'Many' + substantive numărabile Folosit în întrebări și propoziții negative. Exemplu: 'How many books do you have?' (books = numărabil, plural).
- 'Much' + substantive nenumărabile Folosit în întrebări și propoziții negative. Exemplu: 'I don't have much time.' (time = nenumărabil).
- 'A lot of' + ambele tipuri Folosit în propoziții afirmative. Exemple: 'She has a lot of friends.' (friends = numărabil), 'He drinks a lot of water.' (water = nenumărabil).
