Can could may might engleza explicatii
Verbele modale 'can', 'could', 'may', 'might' exprimă abilitate, permisiune, posibilitate sau cerere polite. 'Can' și 'could' se referă la abilitate sau cerere, 'may' și 'might' la permisiune sau probabilitate.
Utilizare de bază
- Can Exprimă abilitate prezentă: 'I can swim' (Pot înota). Permisiune informală: 'Can I go?' (Pot să plec?).
- Could Abilitate trecută: 'I could run fast when I was young' (Puteam alerga repede când eram tânăr). Cerere polite: 'Could you help me?' (Ai putea să mă ajuți?).
- May Permisiune formală: 'May I enter?' (Pot să intru?). Posibilitate: 'It may rain tomorrow' (S-ar putea să plouă mâine).
- Might Posibilitate mai mică decât 'may': 'She might come later' (S-ar putea să vină mai târziu). Permisiune formală, mai rar.
Exemple practice
- Exemplu 1 Can you speak English? (Poți să vorbești engleza?) - abilitate.
- Exemplu 2 May I use your phone? (Pot să folosesc telefonul tău?) - permisiune polite.
- Exemplu 3 It might snow tonight. (S-ar putea să ningă diseară.) - posibilitate incertă.
Folosește 'can' pentru abilitate, 'could' pentru politețe, 'may' pentru permisiune formală, 'might' pentru posibilitate slabă.
